Are the charitable proceeds supporting the MLSE Foundation as usual?
Yes. This includes the MLSE Launchpad and other community programs like MLSE Launchpad.

Are my odds of winning higher with online only draws?
The odds of winning are based on the number of tickets sold for the duration of the jackpot.

Can I play/buy more than one time for each draw?
Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket for each draw.

Do I have to be in Ontario to purchase tickets?
Yes. You must be in Ontario to be able to purchase tickets.

How old do I need to be to purchase tickets?
In Ontario, the legal age to purchase 5050 tickets is 18 years of age.

How long does it take to receive my tickets?
Tickets generally arrive within 5 minutes of ordering. During times of high demand, it could take up to half an hour. If you do not receive the ticket within an hour, please email us at 5050@mlsefoundation.org

How do I find out the winning number?
The winning number will be posted at www.mlsefoundation.org and on the online storefront site.

How long do I have to claim my prize?
The winner has 6 months from the date of the draw to claim the prize.

If I win, is the prize taxable, and/or tax deductible?
Lottery winnings are not taxable in Ontario. However, the ticket is not tax deductible because it provides the purchaser with a chance to win and is therefore, not a charitable donation
